Our modern manufacturing facility, strategically located in the New Industrial Area of Doha, is equipped with state-of-the-art production systems, advanced laboratory and R&D capabilities, and a professionally managed supply chain that ensures efficiency, consistency, and reliability across every stage of production.

Global Detergent Factory (GDF) was established in the State of Qatar with a clear mission — to locally manufacture world-class cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing products. From the outset, GDF was built on international formulation standards, sustainable values, and a passion for innovation.
A state-of-the-art production plant was commissioned in the New Industrial Area, Doha, equipped with advanced mixing, filling, and packaging lines. The facility marked a major step toward supporting the “Made in Qatar” initiative and achieving regional self-reliance in hygiene product manufacturing.
Responding to increasing market demand, GDF expanded its production capacity to 30,000 tons per annum, enhanced its storage and logistics facilities, and established a dedicated in-house R&D laboratory and Reverse Osmosis (RO) water treatment plant to ensure consistent product quality.
GDF achieved Integrated Management System (IMS) certification through ISOQAR, accredited by UKAS Management Systems, encompassing:
- ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management System
ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management System
ISO 45001:2018 – Occupational Health & Safety Management System
This milestone reaffirmed GDF’s dedication to excellence, safety, and environmental responsibility.
GDF entered a manufacturing license agreement with BETCO (USA), enabling local production of internationally certified cleaning and hygiene products. These products hold certifications such as NSF, EPA, Green Seal, and Ecologo, further elevating the company’s global credibility.
GDF successfully expanded its distribution footprint beyond Qatar to key markets in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, supplying a diverse range of industrial, institutional, and consumer cleaning products.
Today, GDF continues to evolve as a sustainable international manufacturer aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030. With a focus on green innovation, automation, and global collaboration, we are driving the next chapter of growth in the cleaning and hygiene industry.
